Problem Dlink DIR-300

Hello, sorry I don't speak CZ...(but understand)

I have UPC fiber power 25 (via cable, without ADSL modem)

It work good.

I bought Wi-Fi router Dlink DIR-300

And I can't to setting it...

 

I selected DHCP connection (on modem)

Clone MAC adress (from notebook)

But it doesn't work.

 

Please help me...

May be a must to change another settings...

just set wifi password, wireless security mode to WPA2 Personal and encryption TKIP+AES, everything else leave as it is, dhcp is usually enabled by default... its better to unplug modem for 10 seconds after everything is done...

no... it was a problem with my patch cord...

 

Now I have A new problem....When I connect my patch cord to the router...

When I plug my internet cable to Internet slot in my Router - it can't get IP Adress

And router doesn't show indication about INTERNET.

 

 

P.S. I don't have ADSL. I have intenet via cable

Try resetting your modem,

and clone the MAC address of the laptop is not necessary, just reset the modem and he reads the new MAC.

Try resetting your modem,

I haven't got modem.. It's connection via cable ...

Sorry, I don't know how it describe.... I have only RJ-45 connection... not modem at home.... :oops:
